Wellmann presents new generation of kitchens

Kitchens by the Wellmann brand stand for sleek elegance, modernity and high quality in the mid price sector. Now a new range from Wellmann combines numerous additional features and dimensions - and therefore enables even more leeway and planning freedom. Alno will introduce the new Wellmann range at Eurocucina 2010.

Pfullendorf/Düsseldorf, 14th April 2010 - More flexibility in the freely planable kitchen: Under this motto Wellmann continues their approach of functional and ergonomic kitchen design. Because in the kitchen short cuts and comfort count - tailor made to your individual requirements. Only when all moves become child’s play, does the experience of sensible functionality accompany the sensual perception of attractive design.

Elegant look thanks to new joint alignment and extended decoration
At first glance the new front joint alignment of the newest generation of kitchens from Wellmann attract attention: The narrow 4mm line is continuous both vertically and horizontally and creates discreet, flowing transitions. The fronts of the range are orientated towards modern material and colour trends. High quality varnished fronts like the white high gloss front presented at the trade fair supplement the spectrum of tried and tested surfaces. In order to retain a uniform colour picture, the tops and bottoms of the wall units match, as before, the relevant body décor. Even regarding the theme of being handleless the Wellmann kitchens are presented in a modern way with integrated straightforward handles.

Tailor made kitchens
All kitchen modules from the new range are based on the flexible cupboard height grid of 130 mm. The tried and tested cabinet height of 715 mm with its generous storage space goes well with this, and even fits in old buildings with a balustrade height of 860 mm. Planning freedom includes a multitude of cupboard dimensions: Two cabinet heights (715 mm and 325 mm), five side cupboard heights, six wall unit heights and three top mounted cabinets can be integrated into almost any spatial situation. The same applies for the eleven cabinet widths - including the modern dimension of 120 cm with revolving doors, drawers and sliding shelves - the five side cupboard widths and a total of nine wall unit widths. Something has happened to the depths too: The wall unit and top mounted cupboard depth of 350 mm now offers significantly more space than before. A niche dimension of 545 mm thereby guarantees not only a harmonious look, but above all an ergonomically perfect work area.

Comfort due to intelligent technological features
Alongside flexibility and ergonomics there are technical features which provide a great deal of functionality and comfort. So the tried and tested Wellmann plinth system, significantly more water resistant and more elegant than a normal chipboard system, earns points thanks to its intelligent assembly technology: Without screwing or glueing, it is simply put together. There is also an innovative plinth panel holder in the new range, which ensures precise fit and a firm hold for the plinth. A further innovation relates to the hinges: As already optionally available with drawers and sliding shelves, doors can now also be supplied with insulation integrated in the door hinge. This comfort supplements the standard full extension of drawers and sliding shelves, which is also highly useful when cleaning. Flexibility is also a trump card when mounting the cupboard: Adjustment possibilities in three directions faciliate an exact alignment.
